skipper76 told me the front brakes were acting strange like the calipers were hopping around when hed use the brakes before i came down.so i checked his calipers they seemed tight and took it around the block and figured out it was his frontend diving realy bad and bouncing ! thought somebody forgot to put fork oil in when he had them rebuilt,so i drained the oil out ended up having that thin oil everybody likes using(except for me) in there so i pulled the caps to measure the springs while i was in there and come to find out whoever rebuilt these things for him in kansas city used two differant springs,anybody know if ltd takes differant springs than a regular kz?

WM I don't think so. I bought progressive springs for my 900LTD and they are the same # as for my 650B1. Best info I have.

I'm confused... are you saying that it had a different spring on the left than the right or two springs in each tube or what??

Both springs should be exactly the same, and I like using either half 10W and half 15W or straight 15W myself.

2 completely differant springs left spring was longer than book showed,right spring was a shorter progressive spring with a slug on top of it!

im gonna try and make it to my dads tomorrow and snag some matching springs from another frontend,thanks guys!
