I am about to do a swap to a gs1100 and was wondering what options I have of front ends matched with rims. Right now, I was thinking of converting to a 82 gpz550 front end with 86 gpz550 rims (only 130 :( ) Will these fit? (I really want a 180/190 rear tire- '90 zxr750  , but would settle for atleast a 150/160:) . help!) Has anyone ever swaped in a GPZ 900 R rear rim (150)? How can I tell which forks I have to use to match up the rims?

What set up did you use to match the complete front and the rear rim.

What is the bigest tire you can get in a 82 gs1100 swing arm? (too many ?'s ... losing my mind!)

I think I decided to go with a ltd1000 rear rim for the time being until I decided which front to use. Heeeeelp! Anyone out there who knows about front end swaps.
