I've read the Archives, and I know that Sportster Lowering Shocks or Hardtail Struts are the main option for lowering the Z650, but I'm hoping we could possibly put together a list of other options.

Ok. Maybe there aren't other options, but I'm wondering if there are OEM Jap shocks that are in the 10-11 inch eye to eye range.

I'm thinking maybe some of you guys have shocks laying around in the garage, and we could take some measurements for reference.

Funny thing is, my bike has an aftermarket Cafe Seat (plus I'm 5'-11") and I still can't touch flat footed. What's the deal with that? There's pics in my gallery.
