My front brakes are quiet as a mouse in the daytime on my way to work. On the way home around 11pm they squeal like a stuck pig! I guess it's something to do with the temperature difference, but it's not that much different with the hot weather.

Also, it used to do the same thing occasionally, but it didn't seem as severe. In fact it had not done it at all until recently when I removed one set of pads a couple weeks ago to check for wear, sprayed them off with brake cleaner and reinstalled them.

Old brakes? Cold Brakes versus hot brakes? Replace the pads with street pads, and your noise should go away.

Yeah they are old brakes (probably originals), but they still have meat left so I'm gonna try to milk em'.

Any change to brake system can cause parts to resonate and squeal. Try braking way late and really hard.

Disk Breaks Squeel for two reasons. #1) The pad's leading edge catches on the disk and they vibrate. #2 The pad is not damped so the vibration continues.
The solution is to both file down the leading edge of the pad (About 1/4 Inch) so the pads do not vibrate and to use Silicone Sealer on the back of the pad to dampen the vibration. I suspect thet you reinstalled the pads in reverse. So, the leading edge became the trailing edge and this is causing your vibration. I would get new pads. Good breaks and good tires are the cheepest insurance that you can buy.
