Ninja 650 brakes on 750/4

Hi all, I've successfully gotten a set of 2018 ninja 650 calipers and master to fit on my 81 750e2.
Just want to record it here and show that it is possible.
A set of calipers and matching master can be found for cheap on eBay I think I paid $60 in total.
A bracket obviously had to be made to fit them, however the upper bolt lines up so the bracket is simple to make.
I laid the caliper on the rotor and took measurements for the bracket, thickness, angle to lower hole, spacing etc:.
One problem is stock bolts are m10 and 650 bolts are m8. You can either make a sleeve for the fork holes or tap calipers for m10. I made sleeves.
Turned them down on the lathe, made the brackets in a Bridgeport style mill however you could easily do it with a drill press or by a steady hand. For thickness if you don't have a mill you could probably shim the bracket in or out.
My rotors seem to not be very round so I had to take some material off of the caliper directly under the upper slide pin, be careful it's very thin there and easy to break into the bore.
With my clip-on setup the master bolted right up 7/8th bars. I reused my stock brake lines which are fine but due for an upgrade to stainless. Banjo bolts are same size and the lines bolt up no problem. Bleeding the brakes was tough, master didn't want to prime so I used a syringe to pull the fluid through the caliper bleeders.
Result is much better front brakes, not a supersport by any means but definitely better than tired 45yr old setup. Only issue is that with the stronger brakes the forks are way too soft and I can actually nearly bottom them out on the brakes.
