Zephyr wheels on b4 ltd
18 Mar 2026 12:38
I am fitting a zephyr 1100 rear wheel on to my z1000 ltd . I have am using a gs 1000
braced swing arm via some spacers. The
Zephyr wheel is 17" with a 160 x 70 tyre.
I am thinking around a 17 tooth front and 46 rear sprocket, anyone with any experience of a similar conversion.
Any help much appreciated.

18 Mar 2026 12:54I used "gearing commander" to calculate that 18-46 would give me 70mph at 4200 rpm in 5th (160-60-17 rear tyre) if you google gearing commander you can punch in your tyre size and ratio, it will then give you speed in gears etc to help you decide what is right for your planned useI am fitting a zephyr 1100 rear wheel on to my z1000 ltd .
