Braided Steel Brake Lines for 78-79 650 SR?

Is there a kit avail? I can't seem to find one on eBay nor other sources. I want the stock design -- 1 into 2 so it will bolt on. Is there a kit for a different bike which will work? TIA

You can buy the fittings and line from "Goodrich" etc and make your own lines (this is what I have just done) Not sure ref suppliers in the USA, I'm sure others will advise

Z1enterprises has goodridge brake lines and fittings. the parts diagrams at kawasaki.com or partzilla may have the lengths. those measurements for my motorcycle are eye-to-eye. goodridge fittings add about an inch to the length.  so if a stock line is 520mm (20.5"),  you'd need an 18.5" goodridge line. round up or down to the nearest inch as appropriate. the stock lengths are for stock handlebars, etc. any changes from stock can affect the actual needed lengths. Galfer brake lines are another choice. similar to stock with the fittings crimped on. no separate fittings to buy. cyclebrakes is one place that has them.

So there is no kit. What a drag. Bike is 30 miles away.

there may be a place with kits. but I wouldn't count on them being the correct lengths. best way is to measure yours then order. check the diagrams for the measurements but also measure.

I bought a kit from Galfer for my GPz but they were too short. Galfer offered to take my old ones, copy them and then send them all back. Very good company to work with.
