03 Apr 2023 06:57When I had my KZP I belonged to a site which I think is now defunct. The owner of the site was a professional motorcycle mechanic who maintained a fleet of KZP's for the Los Angeles police dept, so he saw a bunch of them. He said the fork seals on those bikes, which have gaiters, almost never leaked. But to be fair, they only kept them for about 50,000 miles and those happened relatively quickly compared to civilian bikes.
I vote to keep the gators.
Thanks!

03 Apr 2023 08:09I'm sure they have they're benefits, it's the look of the fork tube I like. To me it's cleaner looking. And I've had my share of leaking seals .
~~~>>> To me, the fork tubes on the older bikes are a bit spindly. It’s best to cover them up.
