Good evening ladies and gentlemen good I'm Tim. I've only owned my 750 for less than a week and I'm already in the process of turning into something that I want. To give you a little back story, I currently rock a trail 125 Honda for commuting around the little town I live in. I have a Box that I added as well as a Jerry can with extra fuel as well as a saddle bag that has a tire repair kit.
I have got storage racks and a on board toolbox. I am deeply interested in what is the correct place to find bags for  my 750...but also somewhere in the life of my bike they ditched the rear rack and I am trying to find what is the correct Replacement. I  used the search and I'm I'm not finding anything pertaining to at 750 twin..... Any help and suggestions to The right gear or other threads within this forum I'm very appreciative of thank you.

Well my little Honda trail has a small Jerry can that I've actually used more for other cars than I have for the bike. I have my tool kit on board and can pretty much rebuild that engine on the side of the road if I had to. I also have 2 extra tubes and patch kits for the tires. I'm one of those weirdos that doesn't like to be broke down at all I tend to be overly prepared. It's very much my military nature. As far as my 750 goes I am thinking something along the lines of a scrambler type of set up but I want to run a set of soft bags and I would like the cargo rack on the back because if nothing else I plan to ride this to work and I want somewhere to strap my lunch Box.

I have a rear rack I removed off my 76 Kz 900.  Maybe it would work on your bike?

Dude that is so freaking what I'm looking for holy Molly! I have no idea if it would fit on my bike. It is a 1977 (although I suspect 78 )750 twin

The previous owner of my bike did the paint job and did away with the rack.......

The blue version is after head sat for something like 20 years, And then after The after is green.

I would have still kept the rack on there probably would have painted it black if it with me.  DM me a price and maybe we can work something out

The previous owner of my bike did the paint job and did away with the rack.......

That could be a K&G luggage rack and those can be found all over EB.  Aschco racks are almost identical.  Also, there are some KZ750 Twin racks on EB.  The K&G racks can be listed in all sorts of ways, often times according to what motorcycle they were on. K&G rack, KG rack, CB750 rack, Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki, GS850, XS650etc.

I have a K&G on my 1981 KZ650-CSR for attaching a trunk.

I've seen your bike on here a bunch of times and I'm not sure that I dig the backrest on it but it's not my bike I do like the rack however. I love how friendly everyone is here and I love everyone has a great interpretation of what they want their machine to be.

I sold the backrest. hee.  It came w the first luggage rack I bought, so I gave it a try; but I never have a passenger & it was kind of in the way when getting on the motorcycle. doh. The trunk mount is permanently attached to the rack & I also use a tail bag.  The rack is installed w K&G offset mounting brackets for a KZ440. I originally went w homemade by cutting galvanized plates from the hardware store which allowed for a more custom fit to get the rack was closer to the seat. but the chrome brackets are nicer. hee.  Also, the K&G racks came w various different arms & mounts which can be found on EB.

Well ladies and gentlemen the Kz made it home last night. And I was more concerned about the mechanical stuff before I decided. I wanted to address the on board storage stuff. An incredibly wonderful human being (wheelhop) sent me 2 Racks to try all my bike,  I will be going with the Chrome one with the back rest although. I probably won't be bringing along the sissy bar.

Pic to follow once I actually get this thing rolling, and safe
