Love my KZ750LTD, but with no grab rail, the mounts look ugly and mess up the nice lines. This tip might be helpful for other KZ models....

I don’t like cutting or chopping frames, so I came on an idea borrowed from British Cafe racers (with circular side plates for licenses, etc). And found these blanking plates from Home Depot. 4” round. Add your favorite sticker and away you go. You can glue it or bolt it —I’ll be drilling it to bolt it in, using existing forward bolt set.

Hope this inspires others; and for less than $4USD, It’s easy to remove if I ever find an original grab rail.

Grab rail? Isn't that where the stock turn signals mount?

The frame grip mounts to the small holes. I would just paint those areas. maybe install rubber plugs or something in the frame grip holes. or install a frame grip for putting the motorcycle on the center stand, but I guess that veers from the point of the topic. :)
