I recently bought an 81 KZ1000 LTD, and a whole bunch of stuff came with it. Pipes, side panels, etc.. Can anyone tell me about this swingarm? I know the stock ones are round tube, and I can’t find anything about aftermarket swing arms. Plus here’s a pic of the bike :)

Suzuki GS1000. It was a popular modification back in the day. I have one myself. It is lighter than the KZ swing arm. If you decide to use it, you will need to use shocks for the GS or have KZ style lower mounts installed. You will also likely need a thin shim on each side of the pivot.

82 Suzuki GS1100E swingarm, got one on all my KZ's. It's a nice and easy upgrade. The only issue using them is you need different shocks with a clevis on the bottom instead of eyelets.

Partzilla shows the same part number on the 1982 GS1000S, 1982-1983 GS1100E, GS1100ES, and the 1983 GS750S.

All the 1100E bikes from 1980 through 1983 used an aluminum swingarm. There are minor differences between 1st gen bikes and 2nd accounting for differences in the chain guard and brake line routing is all.

The 750, 1000, and 1100 Katana's also used similar swing arms, but there aren't many of those bikes being parted.
