Gear change lever
13 Oct 2018 22:58
Aloha guys. Hopefully, I posted this in the right section.
Recently, I build up the motor to crankcase but I needed to take it apart again because I was stupid and forgot a small o-ring that goes on to one of the gear shaft. So started to take a part but you know, you already build-up a motor and have to take it apart again and my motivation was kinda low so called it for a day.
Long story short, I was playing with some of the parts I had and found that shift change lever I got off evilbay was wrong one. I'm pretty sure I bought one that said was for KZ, but it looks like it's for GPz. The lever bore that fit over the shaft is way bigger (more like 14mm instead of 12mm). So I went to evilbay again to get a correct one but unfortunately, the lever assembly was only used for three years (looks like started from 82' GPz, and was used for 83' KZ750 and 84' KZ700). Picture below.
Can I get this from any other year? Or if anybody have one laying around, PM me.
I did look at something like EX500 and looks like it may fit, but not too sure about the thickness of the shifter.

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationAvailable on ebay... Pretty sure you need the lever from a R1 or L model 750 so 3 years sounds about right.

Yeah, I saw that one but the seller won't ship it to Hawaii or Alaska. I'll try message the seller though.
Yes. Price we pay to live in paradise, along with high cost of living.
But thanks for searching!

Yeah, I did tried in evilbay using KZ1100, KZ1000 and KZ750 but none had what I was looking for, so wanted to know if there's any other bike I could use it from.
But thanks for the info!

That lever will fit into a small flat rate box. I'll relay if the seller won't ship to you.

Yeah, that's what I wrote to the seller. Hopefully, seller will reply to my message. Nothing as of now.
In any case, thanks!
