No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationDoes anyone recognize this grab bar set It says its from a KZ1000 ST, but any images I find, I don't see them on those bikes. I'm actually looking for a rear grab bar for my KZ1100 Spectre but they don't seem to exist anywhere, I believe it was a cast aluminium type, certainly black and not polished or chrome. The ST ones might be similar, or at least work if the Spectre type can't be found.

I would guess that a 1000 ST is different, since it's a 70s type of motorcycle. just a guess.

From Kawasaki.com the part number for the KZ1100-D1/D2 Spectre frame grip is #32109-1030.
The frame grip for the 83 KZ1100-L1 LTD Shaft is probably similar, possibly identical in shape (#32109-1039).
I searched the part numbers on eebbaayy but didn't find anything.

Thanks for that. Seems like the 1100 Spectre was a limited bike, not many spares around anymore. I know a tubular one would look wrong, even if I did paint it black. I would like one to at least be able to help lift the heavy pig up onto the center stand. There was a member on here who said he had one but is not answering his messages now.

Whatever that piece of Chinese metal is pictured is not off a KZ1000ST or any other motorcycle that I can dream up. The KZ1000ST just had a small grab bar on the left side for aid in lifting on to the centerstand. Always missing as most other Kawasakis of the era, as most owners opted for a luggage rack. Whatever those bars in the picture are is a big question. Maybe parts of a washing machine? Not a motorcycle part.
321,000 miles on KZ's that I can remember. Not going to see any more.

Oh yes, and the part number is the same, apart from the last digit, I did ask measurements, thank you for finding that, hope it's the same.

One digit in a part number can make all the difference.
I would ask for width measurements & the distance between the Fr & Rr mounting points.

And sometimes the different part number is for a relatively minor or more cosmetic or decorative thing such as seat stitching pattern or color (eg., different color fuel tanks have different part numbers), or finish (chrome or black).

I concur with martin_csr's advice.

From KZQ's KZ1100 Spectre:

Perhaps someone will post a pic of the KZ1100 Spectre grab bar showing the attachment points for direct comparison with the KZ550/750 attachment points.
I suspect that the difference may be in location of the attachment points relative to the length between attachment points and shock mounting bolt.
And maybe the width between the ends.

Good Fortune! :)
