just cerious is it posibal to put a rear fairing (like one off a 78 kz) on a 80kz ltd? I'm planing a swingarm convershon but would like to have the rear fairng:woohoo:

You will want a seat from a non LTD to go with it but it is possible. The 80 LTD has a round tube at the end where the 78 should have a squared off tube so you will have to make some brackets. Shouldnt be to difficult, even if your welder impaired like me. Maybe something like the way I made my fender eliminator (click on the blue bike below for pics) The LTD seat has more metal in the back of the pan so it would need cutting around the tail, or just put the 78 seat on also.

thanks very very helpful just what I needed your bike looks great by the way, are you using clipons or clubmen's??
