Can some of you guys tell me what difference is, if any, between the rear wheel disc brake wheels in the different years? I have a 77-78 rear disc wheel w/rotor and sprocket setup and another set up on a bike. Not sure of the year of it, but was told there is differences between the years. I figured they were all interchangable. Can anybody tell me what is different and what years interchange parts on the rear disc wheels?

i think 77-78 was the only years for wire disc brake wheel for 1000 unlesss youre talking about mag wheels.;)i forgot about csr models ,i think they had a completely differant rear hub though.

I'm talking about wire wheels but didn't KZ900's have a disc setup? I don't know but was told 77-78 year disc rear wheel were different then other years and just wanted to see it that was right.

the only 900s ive seen with a factory rear disc were 76 ltds with mag wheels,i think the 900s in early 77 still had drum brakes .
