I just got a basket-case '81(?) KZ440 LTD. How do you know if it's a D3, A2, B4, H1, or what? My Clymer's has different specs for these different models. Are there clues to be found in the VIN?

Since this isn't a carburetor related topic and the number you will use is stamped on the frame, I thought the best area to repost this topic is in the "Chassis" forum. wg
