Fork seal question

Okay so I've read the other posts and have gotten the fork stripped down and taken the retaining ring and washer out. I'm trying to get the seal out. My question is specifically about the seal itself, since I don't have another one yet to compare,

Is the seal an all rubber ring or is it a metal ring with rubber around it? It looks like it is metal ring with rubber around it but I don't want to go prying something out of the fork that isn't meant to be pried on.

Thanks!

The fork seal is rubber with a spring inside it.

If you use a seal puller to remove it, remember to protect the edge of the fork that the puller will be leveraging against. If it gets damaged it may damage the seal upon installation.

Oh, I see H1Vindicator says the same thing. I'm a day late and a dollar short...
