steell Offline User Posts: 6850 Thank you received: 207	I don't even have to look at the page you linked, I have been to Lou's (Loudhvx on here) site so many times I just about have it memorized If you have a mechanical timing advancer (and I think the 81 does) then it should work. That's a nicely made rectifier, not the ignitor.

loudhvx Offline KZr Legend Posts: 10868 Thank you received: 1615	I think I use 14 gauge to the coils and the ground for the HEI module. For the positive wire you can probably use 16 or 18. The pickup wires can use just about anything. 1981 KZ550 D1 gpz. Kz550 valve train warning. Other links.
