stock coils?

i am putting in a 1980 kz 750 engine into my '78 kz 650 bike. i think that i have my wiring some what figured out as far as the reg/rectifier. but i need to know if i can use my stock coils for this electronic ignition.

It won't harm anything to use 4-ohm coils with the Kaw electronic ignition (which use 2.5-ohm coils). The worst case scenario is that you will have weak spark at higher RPMs which may cause some hesitation and lack of power at higher revs.
