I have been reading past posts from a year ago about the 440 / 750 electronic converstions ,, My real question now is what worked best after some time in the bikes ? Does anyone make a convertion ? if so do they stand up to time and wear ? Thanks :)

Do you mean the 440 system on the 750? I don't know about that, because I've never done it.
But if you mean *any* electronic ignition, there was an interesting thread recently where somebody contended that they were unreliable, and it spurned a whole list of people professing how many miles they've run on theirs. I have like about 6000+ miles on mine in the last two years, and it's holding up great.

I have done a couple or three 440/750 electronic ignition conversions, only takes about 1/2 hour and works great.
