Flashing brake light

I've been trying to clean up all the ellectrical conectors,now the brake is flashing on the dash.Any idea how the system sences issues? If I knew it may help me track the problem.:blink:
76 KZ, frame gusset work,1200CC.Ported by Larry Cavanaugh, 1.5mm.over intakes, Carron Pipe, ZRX12 rear end, and seat,96zx9 front end.

it usually means the brake or tailight burned out

The manual says:
When all is well, the dash light comes on whenever the front or back brake is used.
If the rear brake light fails (blown bulb), then the dash light will come on whenever the front or back brake is used, AND the dash light will flash when the brakes are not used.
I think btchalice hit the nail on the head.... check for a bad brake light bulb.

It doesn't necessarily have to be a blown bulb. Recheck your ground and wire connection again too.
78 650-C2, Stock engine, Jardine 4-2 Exh., 17-38 sprockets, dyna ignition and coils, coil wiring mod, carb mod.

Take the dash light out and all is well. :laugh:
