man, have I got questions!
OK, the question for today is...
I'm building up an '81 GPz, which is fuel injected. It has a gas gauge sender in the tank. Is this sender unit a common Kawasaki part? Does it crossreference to other models?
It's my understanding that some Kawasakis came with "low fuel warning" lights instead of a gauge. Do these models use a different sending unit? If I wanted to eliminate the gauge and just go with a low fuel light, could I just use a different sender? Am I asking questions nobody else even thinks about?

I once had shingles! Paid dearly for that stranger to put them on the garage!

.....42!

My bro has been looking for one for months and just snagged one off e-hay!

Does it crossreference to other models?

Donnoow! 42!

Dosen't keep me up truthfully! But I promise to commence pondering it if no one else pops up and answeres you in a dignified forthright manner!

I just finished the Dionne Warwick Psycho Home Study and I was anticipating the question! But I'm beginning to get suspicious that Douggie was wrong as that answer is nowhere in my Magic 8 Ball! That and the fact that Pratchett exceeds Addams by a very large hypergalactic distance.

Bruce, I think the sender unit in the 1981 GPz (B1) tank is shared with the 1982 KZ1100B2 model, and the 1982/3 KZ1000R1/2 models.
