What Do I Do with All These Wires?
18 Jul 2006 19:45
I believe that I have successfully installed new bearings in steering stem of my 78 KZ400. But I could have done a better job of keeping track of all those connectors in headlight that I disconnected to do it.
I've got the big ones.
It seems to be the little ones that are causing problems. Mostly, the bullet connectors are not connected. So the way I have it, the headlight turns on. The turn signals all work. The front brake does not switch on the brake light. The rear brake does switch on the brake light, briefly, before it blows the main 20 amp fuse.
What now? How can I get back to square one?

Start with the wiring diagrams at
www.kz400.com
and go from there.
