Resistor sparkplug
Yesterday 14:58 - Yesterday 14:59
I have installed m-unit blue, but are running without reistor on the spark plug cable and plug itself..
Wire:
Dyna Ignition Wires 7mm copper core.
Coil:
Dyna Dual Output 3.0 Ohm Coils (pair) DC1-1
Can I use these spark plugs?

In short if you run non resistor cables and spark plugs you can use resistor caps.

one resistor in any one ignition line only or alternatively no resistors is also fine.

I have previously run the ignition system without any resistor in the plug caps or wires, and it worked perfectly. However, last winter I rebuilt the wiring harness and installed an m-unit blue, so I now want to add a resistor to reduce electrical noise.
Is a 5 kΩ resistor plug cap the correct choice for my setup, and will these NGK 5 kΩ caps fit my existing Dyna 7 mm copper-core ignition wires?

The OEM wires were 7mm copper core, and the plug caps were 5k resistance. You are exactly duplicating the OEM setup.
