Only if you want to run "resistor" plugs

Resistor plugs or caps are mainly used to cut down radio interference which can affect the function of certain electronic devices and interfere with TV reception etc.
Unless your machine has certain sensitive electronics you can run either one source of resistance ( plug or cap ) or non at all.
Running no resistance will produce the strongest spark.
All my Zeds run no resistance.

The resistor inside the plug cap may be removeable, and if so, you can replace it with a slug of copper wire, thus creating a "non resistor" plug cap.

Weaker sparks get suppressed at higher rpms which means incomplete mixture burn and top end power loss ..
Black plugs are either down to rich mixture or excess oil burning although the stronger spark may alleviate the symptoms slightly...

Stronger spark just means a greater resistance to plug fouling, generally improved starting and overall running especially for combustion and power at higher rpms.Am I supposed to see a difference?! Maybe it will help for my 2-3 black spark plug?!

Completely agree where "interference" isn't an issue (there's no down side)Resistor plugs or caps are mainly used to cut down radio interference which can affect the function of certain electronic devices and interfere with TV reception etc.

You should look into replacing the stock coils, aftermarket coils and better plug wires are a cheap performance upgrade.
What ignition system are you running? Stock or Dyna S? I ask because sometimes a failing OEM Igniter will give a weak spark = black plugs.

sorry to intrude, last time I bought these, were about, 4-5 dollars US apiece from NGK website, both bikes use these copper wires and non resister plugs, along with later kawasaki electronic advance ignition, run great
