Dyna S failures

I recently installed a Dyna S with green coils on my kz1000. It operated flawlessly for about 200 miles of on and off riding then all of a sudden as I’m accelerating away from a stop … she died on the road and would not restart. I get it home and pull the ignition cover  off and notice the crank rotator magnet had fallen out and both pickups were gouged and cracked … undoubtedly from the magnet spinning out of the rotor. The adhesive that holds the magnet in obviously failed. Has anyone else experienced this with a new Dyna S unit? 

Never had this problem  and have not scene it happen to anybody else.

Manufacturing of the Dyna systems was outsourced to China a few years ago. I heard of this fault a few times since that occurred. Fortunately Dyna customer service didn't go to China with the manufacturing process and they will replace the system for you foc as its now a known fault.

Good to know, disheartening but good to know. 

Never seen that happen with a genuine Dyna but have seen it a couple of times with those Ali express copies.
