Very curious - compatibility of wire harnesses for '82 1100 spectre

Hey gang, wiring on this bike is very age, previous owner chopped and heat fatigued, like most stockers of the same year. I'm just wondering what other years were compatible. If repairing and one has to replace a few key wires, where can I find good, color coded wiring? I'd also ordered some barrel crimps and barrel connectors.

If anyone is in the know, Wookie, F64 perhaps y'all might know this info? Please advise. Thanks

Partzilla shows that harness for the 1981 and 1982 CSR only, but it shows as still available.

I wonder if the LTD harness would work as the bikes were essentially identical save for the electronic speedometer and tachometer on the LTD.

I guess the answer is "how bad" is what you currently have ? any 40 year old loom from another bike is likely to have some issues with corrosion or PO "adjustments". Also a loom from a different model or "market area" is likely to have some differences. You should be able to source "most" wire colours from a good "auto electrical" supplier

his motorcycle is an 1100 Spectre with different part numbers. the fsm has wiring diagrams. there's an 81-83 chain drive pdf. to see how close one of those wire harnesses would be.
