compression test with dyna-s installed

Im planning doing a compression test today,but read a old tread here on forum that the dyna-s pickups get fried if turning the engine with all sparkplugs out.So how can i do the comptest with the dyna installed ? i did a comptestback in august with all plugs out maybe that made one of the pickup coils go bad?? or that that was the reason one of my coils melted later?
Im bad at electrick stuff

I been running Dyna's on all my Zeds for years and never had one fry when doing this.
You could always disconnect the live feed to the pickups though if you want to isolate it.

Not sure why it would have any effect? can you unplug the pick up coils ?

Okay thanks for info guys i will try to unplug the feed to the coils or pickup coils and se if it turns over

Ok i did the comp test just took the plugs out of the caps .Comp was okay 140-150 psi.Engine was cold Dont think the pickup coils got any damage,but have not ridden the bike yet so not 100% sure.
