Am I missing something - What is the question ?

I think he wants some help to understand the meanings of the different parts of the battery model number (maybe so he can find an equivalent battery from another manufacturer).

I don't know exactly what the other fields mean, but that is a Yuasa part number so anything 12V and having the same exterior dimensions should work for what he needs. The other main point will be the location/type of electrical connections on the battery: they will need to be the same as on the current (heh) battery, but there shouldn't be too many options for that.

FYI - the AH rating is the amount of current a battery can supply for 1 hour before the residual voltage drops below a pre-determined level so a 12AH battery can supply 12amps for 1hour

The OEM number battery is YB12A-A.  12N12A-4A-1 is the same size and configuration, but seems to be built to a lower price point.
