Hello, can anyone tell me the differences between the J model Electronic ignition and ZN1100/GPZ?

I was going to buy a Dyna S system for my 81 LTD but I have a ZN1100 crank. I remembered the ignition and crank end was different then the J model but the J model rotor and plate did bolt up. Dyna does not list the GPZ or ZN1100 as compatible with the Dyna S DS2-1.

The GPZ/ZX1100 IC-igniter had an extra electronic ignition advance circuit onboard.

The Advancer rotors look completely different. In fact, I'm not even sure the ZN1100/GPZ even had a mechanical element to it's advance. I cant seem to find a lot of info on it.

A GPZ1100UT (UNITRAK), aka ZX1100A1,A2,A3 engine didn´t have a mechanical advancer. The igniter electronic box did the advancer job.
