New(er) Gauges (Meters)

So I am having the frame braced and the forks shortened and must remove all the handlebars and electrics. Figure I might as well upgrade the gauges to a modern setup but still maintain the KZ1000 of the 70's look. Can you all recommend a good set, preferably a set that will still fit inside he chrome buckets and caps I have currently. Thanks fellas

I know that my 78 KZ650 fork lowers are longer than my Z1 by about a couple of inches, but the overall length with uppers attached is exactly the same.  This means the uppers are shorter by a couple of inches.  You should be able to put 650 uppers into KZ1000 lowers.  They are the same diameter and use the same end piece on the damper.
I have several restored bikes along with a 2006 Goldwing with a sidecar. My wife has a 2019 Suzuki DR 650 for on and off road.
