I seriously thought about it, but if the M-button goes bad you are in trouble.
You could lose 6 functions (brake light, headlight, turn signals, starter, horn)
I'm just going to run thin wires through the handlebar.
I have to run around (11) 22awg wires through the handlebar. If one wire goes bad, I won't lose all of the functions in the handlebar.
If I could trust M-button, it would be amazing. It would eliminate at least 6 wires going back to the m-unit.
Just a note.
The only thing I've had issues with is getting the m-unit wet.
Mount it where it won't get wet. Under the seat should be fine.
For anyone wondering what a M-button is.
It's tiny module that takes 6 switch inputs on your handlebars and transmits all 6 inputs over 1 wire back to the Motogadget m-unit.
You put the tiny module in the handlebar and connect the short module wires to the switches. Then run 1 wire out of the handlebar instead of
6.
