Handlebar Switch Compatability

Can anyone tell me if the Switchblock for the Z1/KZ900 will fit my KZ1100?
It seems like if it will fit the 7/8" handlebar it should be able to be wired to work right?

Maybe someone else will chime in. I'm not an electrical expert, but I bet yes. I did a quick comparison of the Z1 & 1000J wiring diagrams & it looks like you'd only use 3 wires from the new switch (the J1 has the same RH control as the 1100A). I checked the control at Z1Enterprises.com but can't tell what all the wire colors are. black is probably the same. brown (or red) and yellow-red might be reversed. and the headlight wires wouldn't be used, so the ON-PO-OFF wouldn't do anything. unless you wanted to wire it in. I may have overlooked something obvious, though.

That's what I was thinking; that I could just redo the wiring some as long as it was for the same size bar.
I appreciate your input.

KZ handlebars are 7/8. plus I compared the throttle grips. The 1100 is plastic while the Z1 is metal, but they look pretty much the same otherwise, so I'm assuming they fit the same.
