The KZ650 has at least 3 different types of regulator/rectifiers.
1977 used seperate regulator and rectifier for excited field alternator. This one is easily identified by 3 screw heads in a triangle pattern on the alternator cover.
1978 to about 1980 used a single unit which was for a single-phase, permanent magnet alternator.
1981 and later CSR's used a single unit which was for a three-phase, permanent magnet alternator.
You need to find out what year and model it was, or determine exactly what alternator you have.
