I’m intrest i to installing temperary USB charger in my bike and use it when I’m on weekend trip and remove it again (don’t need need it for daily use).
What have you done?

I have one on all my bikes. I use the lead from the battery tender for the power by taking the extra lead with the clamps and cutting off those clamps. When I ride, I just open the seat and put the two ends together. When not riding it is disconnected.

Sure.
Here is the lead I use. I cut off the clamps and reverse the wires so I can use it to power USBs and a volt meter on the cop bike.
