Magneto position, KZ440
04 Nov 2019 18:14
Hey everyone first post here, just picked up a 1982 kz440 belt drive.
The starter stopped engaging so I decided to pull the cover and see what was up, turns out the flywheel/magneto bolt came loose and was just spinning the ring gear, not moving the flyheel/started clutch. Unfortunately this means the flywheel lost its position on the taper. Can anyone help in pointing out any information as to location the correct position of the flywheel in correspondence to timing? Thanks a lot, hope to get this thing going at some point!

There is no set position, just tighten the bolt.
