This guage has always been jumpy but since updating my ignition with the Dynatek mod for my big twin, the tach is very erratic and inaccurate even at idle.

We have tried wiring it six ways from Sunday and the guage settings are correct. I sent it back to Koso in Québec to possibly warranty it but they're saying it's bench testing correctly.

Now they're saying to get the signal from one of the three yellow wires coming off the regulator/rectifier. Wish they had put that in their instructions or told me to try that before I sent the unit across the continent.

Does anyone have experience with this particular guage or manufacturer or had a similar they could only solve by getting the signal from the suggest location?

Got the same nightmare like you (KOSO RX2N+). Solved the Problem with an ABS Signal converter.

Where do I get that piece of equipment and how do I wire it in? Where do I get the RPM signal if I'm using that piece?
