igniter

1981 KZ 440 LTD belt, the igniter is mounted on a back plate, buy where does it go ?

What back plate is it mounted to? Did you try plugging the igniter into the wire harness to see where it might fit?
There's an ignition coil plate for mounting the ign. coil, and it seems to have extra holes & an alignment tab, so I kinda wonder if the igniter goes there, with the plate bolted to the frame under the tank.
