Lighting issues
14 May 2019 03:50
I just recently bought a 1981 Kawasaki 305. When I bought the bite the lights we're not working at all, even the indicator lights between the gauges or not working. I've checked all the fuses and wires from front to back no cuts, none melted, no loose connections. But still no lights! Now there are two wires that were never connected, and I can't seem to figure out what they go to. the wiring diagram says they go to the electrical accessory unit. I am not sure what that is, can please someone help me out? There are pics attached to better explain what I'm speaking of

Have you tried just connecting them together?
If it were me I would check the white wire - should be 12V +
Check to make sure there is no continuity between the yellow wire and ground
And then hook them together. Looks to me like there used to be a wire nut on those wires - which would be the wrong way to connect them together
