Time for a new battery
13 May 2019 10:56 - 13 May 2019 11:08
My generic Bike Master 14L-A2 battery lasted only 2 years and 8 months.
I've taken it out of the bike every winter since new and brought it in the house and connected it to my battery tender.
But this spring... with correct water level, I can not get it to take a charge at over 11vdc.
So I know not it was not an expensive battery and maybe two seasons is all ya get....but what's the opinion of these AGM batteries? Since I'll need to pick up something asap.

It's pot luck with batteries.
I've had Yuasa ones in the past pack in after a couple of years yet I have a 10 year old MF on my 1000A that's still going strong and another cheapie on my Z1R still good after five .
I do have them hooked up to Optimate 4's most of the time though which may have helped.
