Antigravity 8 Cell... reg/rectifier upgrade? Worth it?

I am nearing completion on my 80' kz440 build. I built the battery box specifically for a small battery, but have seen lots of conversation about charging output on these old bikes. Has anyone had success or failure with these LI batteries? Is a regulator/rectifier upgrade necessary? I am looking at the 8 Cell antigravity battery. Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks

I've read before that Li batteries like no more than 14 volts when charging. I don't know this for a fact but companies like Rick sell a special R/R which limits the charge voltage. You might want to research further before spending your money...

Shoria Lithium says no more than 15V. I also use a Rick Motorsport Regulator for Lithium battery.I also monitor the voltage output while riding. I've had no issues.I also use their battery charger/monitor as recommended. shoraipower.com/
