I have a 78 kz650b and it already has the dyna ign modue and 3.0 ohm accel coils

it has a non resistor b7es ngk plug

what plug wires do I need?solid core for the non resistor plug?

or switch to a resistor plug and run a modern plug wire?

thanks for any help or advice

Copper core wires and NGK resistor plug caps works well.

I would not switch to resistor spark plugs. The B7ES NGK or ND W22ES-U spark plugs are the correct plugs for your bike. Ed

Can you recommend the correct plug wire for my Ign module, coils, non resistor plug?

I was told on a non resistor plug I should run a solid core wire but idk

My setup is totally stock, so the wires are the ones that came permanently attached to the coils. I believe mine are solid core, but I've never cut them, so I haven't actually seen the conductors inside the insulation. Ed

Denso 22 plugs and copper core ht leads. There is no reason to run resistors anywhere. Only reason they had resistors originally is because it interferred with analogue tv signals as you rode by. As tv's are digital now they are not required. If you do run resistors in either the cap or plug then DO NOT run both. Either one or the other is ok but NOT both.

Z1000J2 somewhat modified!
