I have a GPZ750 87 I believe, when I crank it over I see sparks around the #2cyclinder(inside one on the right side). These sparks are around the plug to cylinder. I know those is a short but does anyone got a place to start,
thanks

Sitting on your bike, from left to right you have cylinders 1,2,3,4. Your left coil operates cylinders 2 & 3, right coil operates cylinders 1, 4 and firing order is 1,2,4,3. Check your high tension wires and caps, they may need replacement, or wires need to be nipped and and caps reinstalled.

I have a 1980 Kawasaki KZ750 Ltd. I bought new. I recently managed to get it out of my garage after 28 years and put it on the road again (2010). I feel like a kid all over again. Since I have acquired 3 78 KZ1000 Ltd, 1 1981 KZ1000 Ltd, and another 1980 KZ750 Ltd. Love the LTD's.
