Hey man, that's brilliant! I did not know I could use my Green 3 Ohm coils on this ignition but if that is the case that is an awesome way to determine if my grey coils are the issue. I know my green one's are perfect so a swap should tell me a lot. Will give this a go and see what I find. Thanks a ton!! My wallet thanks you too. Would rather save it for new rubber than another ignition setup. cheers!

Sweet looking bikes! I always liked the ST styling.

Make sure all the plug wires are connected before testing for spark. Leaving one off can damage a coil or igniter since the spark path will be incomplete.
