I can't tell from the pic, did you crack the oil pan or is there a washer that is cracked?

Yes a copper or aluminum washer for plug # 24, he made out of aluminum.
Drain plug #22 is made out of steel, he needs a copper washer.
For the gauges and ignition key i go this way.
Ignition switch on sequence

According to the diagrams at partzilla #24 is an o-ring & is still available. 92055-1146 RING-O. $4.39
Torque wrench. Get a good torque wrench & look up the torque value in the Kawasaki factory service manual. Lacking a specification, use the torque table & common sense. most bolts don't need to be cranked down like a gorilla & certainly not that plug.
Meters. For a mechanical speedometer you could get one that has a ratio of 2240@60mph or something like that. The 2240 is kind of a Japanese standard. I don't know what tachometer you could use. There are electronic tachs that get their signal from the ignition system. the signal wire is connected to one of the ign coils wires, usually the black wire to the #1 & #4 coil on KZ models with electronic ign.
