The Dyna S replaces the igniter and pickups all as one unit, but don't throw away the old ones. The original system was more efficient and statistically more reliable. Someone somewhere wants them.
Also, you do know the Dyna S will require you to get new coils, correct? The instructions, in Steve's link, specifies the Dyna S must be used with coils that are 3.0 ohms or higher. The original factory coils would have been somewhere between 2.3 ohms and 2.6 ohms.

Thanks guys. Yea it came with new coils as well. I've heard mixed reviews about it now that I have purchased it... but I still have the old one so if it doesn't work well ill swap it back out...

Just an FYI. You can use the green Dyna 3.0 ohm coils with the stock ignition system. The stock coils are probably the weak link the the Kawasaki ignition. I installed the green Dynas on my 81 650 which has the same ignition system as most if not all 750-4 models.
