Banjo bolts.

I am thinking of fitting one of those banjo bolts that have the brake light switch incorporated into it, but I am not sure of the correct thread for my bike. They seem to come in two sizes M10 x 1.25mm and M10 x 1.00mm.
Does anyone know which is the correct one, my bike is a 1981 KZ1000 J1.

Just did a quick web search and found not one site that lists the thread size. Using the newer part number, I did find that it is used on a crap load of models--

1981 KZ1000 LTD awaiting resurrection

Instead of wasting time on the interweb, i should have just gone to the trusted source, the fsm.
