For the 1977 KZ650-B1 or 1977 KZ650-C1 you can use the rectifier #R255a-KZ650 found at www.oregonmotorcycleparts.com/rectifiers3p.html . I put one on my 1977 KZ650-C1 6 years (8,000 miles) ago and it still works perfectly. Ed
