LED turn signals

I recently installed led turn signals on the rear of my 1980 kz550a they worked at first but now the left side has gone out. The front is still bulb turn signals. The rear left has just a small amount of power going to it I can barley see it light up.
Do I need to install a new relay or flasher.

Normally with LED turn signals you will need to get a specific flasher relay for LED turn signals because they draw far less current than and ordinary bulb and the signals will flash way too fast. I had a Yamaha cafe racer with these on and found a GM module meant for LED signals that worked. However that issue is with turn signals flashing way too fast. Yours sounds like a bad ground connection (a very common turn signal fault) or a failing LED lamp. You could try swapping the units over to see if the problem follows it from one side to the other.

Like Redhawk said, you do need a LED flasher, you can by them at AutoZone. I also have to agree that the flasher does not sound like the issue.
