Yes it would be ok - but if the spark plug end caps are resistor type caps then I would suggest that you not do so as this would increase the total resistance and would increase the load on the coils.

Resistor type spark plugs (plugs having an "R" in their number, such as NGKBR8ES) may be installed, provided that non-resistor caps and non-suppressor (metal core) plug wires are used.
Using more than one resistance component (wire; cap; plug) affords too much resistance.
Why? Were the plugs free or something?
Good Fortune!

I wouldn't do it. I would (and do) simply use the correct plugs as called for in the Kawasaki Service Manual. That would be the ND W22ES-U or the NGK B7ES. Why bother using something that is not recommended when there's nothing to gain by doing so?

The guy at Napa probably believes your bike has rubber sparkplug caps(with no resistors). It's a bad choice to use both resistor sparkplug caps(what came with your bike) and resistor sparkplugs.
In the Kawasaki supplied caps, there's a 5000 ohm resistor, so if it were me, I'd not add any more resistance in the ignition coil secondary loop.

As stated above - use ND W22ES-U or NGK B7ES.

Don't trust the guy at NAPA. Use the non resistor plugs, since your ignition is all stock. The resistor plug will Lower your spark voltage, not a good thing.
